Four Injured in Scott County Accident on Friday Night
Scott City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Friday night state troopers report an injury accident at the intersection of K96 and Kansas Avenue in Scott County. The driver of a Honda Civic 28 year old Casey Burge of Grain Valley, Missouri attempted to pass two cars including a Pontiac G6 driven by 18 year old Patricia Herndon of Scott City while she was making a left turn. Burge’s car then collided with Herndon’s vehicle.
Following the accident, Burge was life-flighted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Herndon and the passengers in the other car, 37 year old James Noland and 44 year old Matthew Gilliand both of Blue Springs, Missouri were all taken to Scott County Hospital.
