Joyce V. Oie
Joyce V. Oie, 59, died Friday, July 24, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City.
She was born April 15, 1956 at Fort Hood, Texas, the daughter of Milton Harvey and Jacqueline Germaine Louise Defe Oie.
Joyce was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. She worked for Wal-Mart for the past 17 years.
Joyce spent the last 17 years with her husband, John Martinez of Dodge City and was a loving mother to one daughter, Jacqueline Hensely, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two grandsons and one great grandson.
Final arrangements will be done at a later date. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place.
The family suggests memorials to the Wounded Warriors Project in Joyce’s name in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
