Cuts to KDOT Budget Could Slow Down Winter Cleanup Efforts

(westernkansasnews.com) The state of Kansas announced 62 million dollars in additional cuts last week attempting to balance next year’s books.  KDOT funding is expected to lose eight million dollars. Kirk Hutchinson of KDOT does not believe the cut is all that serious.

State Representative John Doll of Garden City views it differently.

Doll says budget cuts are delaying construction projects that should already be underway.
