Victor Manuel Mendoza Garduño

Victor Manuel Mendoza Garduño, 59, of Liberal, KS, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at St. Catherine Hospital, in Garden City, KS.. 

He was born January 2, 1956, to Jesus Mendoza and Senorina Garduño, at Queretaro, Mexico. 

He graduated from high school in Queretaro. He was employed by Bruce Well Service as an oilfield derrick hand. 

He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Liberal. 

He was married to Marta Mendoza Ortiz, in May 1974, at Acambaro, GTO. She survives.

4 Sons: Manuel Mendoza, Josh Mendoza, Victor Mendoza, and Jessie Mendoza, all of Liberal, KS. 
1 Daughter: Wendy Mendoza, of Liberal. 
1 Brother: Jesus Mendoza, of Mexico. 
1 Sister: Aurora Mendoza, of Mexico. 
17 Grandchildren 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son, Manuel Mendoza. 

Rosary and Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, in Liberal. 

Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 27, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with Fr. James P. Dieker, officiating. Burial will follow in Liberal Cemetery. 

Visitation will be from 9-5 Friday, at Brenneman Funeral Home.
