Larks out slug Dodge City
Hays, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-After building an early 5-1 lead, Dodge City manager David Flores had to be feeling pretty good. After all, the previous week saw plenty of comeback wins in their four-game series with Liberal; being ahead was definitely a change up.
But the four-run cushion never stuck, with Hays grabbing the lead for good following a six-run eighth inning in a 10-7 victory on Tuesday night at Larks Park.
The Larks pounded out 17 hits, while Dodge City committed three errors.
Series resumes tonight at 7 p.m. at Cavalier Field
