Doll: Budget Deal Remains Stalled in Legislature
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas House has been called back into session Thursday afternoon as the budget battle continues in Topeka. House Representative John Doll of Garden City sizes up where we stand.
Doll perfer the legislature re-visit the income tax reductions from 2012. Lower and middle income tax people will not be the only ones suffering.
The legislature is in day 112 of a 90 day session. Doll says he only saw his first tax bill last week. It is estimated the extended time has cost tax payers close to one million dollars.
