James A. “Bush” Bushaw
James A. “Bush” Bushaw, age 64, died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the Robert Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS.
James Allen Bushaw was born May 25, 1951 at Manchester, IA, the son of Floyd and Berniece (Keppler) Bushaw.
He was served in the United States Army during Vietnam War as a paratrooper. He was inducted Sept. 9, 1970 and honorably discharged March 16, 1972.
He was the owner operator of Pyramid Roustabout from 1980 -1994. He was well known for his work as a Harley mechanic and worked for Liberal Harley Davidson for 14 years, retiring in 2013. He had been a Liberal resident for 37 years.
He was a life time member of the VFW Lane Day Post No.3166.
On June 12, 1983, he married Arra Lorene “Rene” Norvell at Tulsa, OK. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters and a brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Friday, May 29, 2015 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal with Pastor Jack Jacob presiding. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be 1 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
