Bonifacio Vigil, 94, died Saturday May 9, 2015 at Homestead Health and Rehabilitation in Garden City. He was born March 19, 1921 in Clayton, New Mexico to Christino and Celia (Cruz) Vigil.
Bonifacio was born and raised in Clayton, New Mexico. He moved to Garden City in 1968. He was an operator, cutter for Western Alfalfa for 9 years before retiring in 1986. Hobbies included
farming and gardening. He enjoyed the outdoors. He was in the Army and served in World War II from 1942-1943
He was preceded in death by her parents- Christino and Celia Vigil, and siblings- Joe Vigil, Faye Cruz, Veronica Cruz, and Esther Casados.
