Huelskamp, House Vote Yes on Stopping Right of Waters Act
Washington D.C. (westernkansasnews.com) The US House Wednesday overwhelming voted to repeal proposed regulation from the rights of waters act set down by the Environmental Protection Agency to strengthen oversight of streams, tributaries and wetlands. Western Kansas Congressman Tim Huelskamp on why he felt it necessary to vote yes for repeal.
The EPA contends one of three people still drink from waters that aren’t federally protected. The White House has threatened a veto.
