GCHS softball ends five-game losing streak; no hits Dodge City; baseball loses two
Emporia, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-After winning 10 straight games to begin the season, five straight losses seemed like forever and a day for Garden City softball. But then came a familiar foe.
Dusti Beffort no hit Dodge City on just 69 pitches Saturday afternoon in an 11-0 victory at the Emporia Classic.
Meantime the offense took command with a nine-run third inning that included Befort’s two hits: a run-scoring single and double.
