Accident in Pratt Kills One From Garden City, Injures Two Others
Pratt, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Saturday shortly after noon an accident in heavy rain and low visibility eight miles west of Pratt on Highway 54/400 claimed the life of an 87 year old woman from Garden City. Witness say Velma Base’s Pontiac Vibe crossed the center line and was struck on the right passengers side. Base died at the scene.
Two others in a Honda were injured 53 year old Que Thi Nguyen and 52 year old Sang Ngoc To. Authorities say the man and woman from Garden City were taken to Pratt Regional Medical Center.
