Trial Date Set For Accused Walmart Stabber; Murder Suspects Make First Court Appearance

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The man accused of stabbing a Wal-mart employee multiple times last April has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder of Estralla Parral. The trial for 32 year old Quincy Crough of Garden City will begin August 31st. Over the last year Cough has been evaluated for his competency to stand trial. A judge determined Crough was able to answer for the charges brought against him in February.

Two men accused of the April 19th murder of 21 year Karlton Waechter at the East Garden Village Mobile Home Park made their initial court appearances. 32 year old Michael George already had bond set at 1.3 million dollars. Jeffrey Rigdon’s bond has been established at one million. Both will make their next appearances in court June 15th.
