Hawkins: Potential Problems with Lifting Concealed Carry Restrictions
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Starting July 1st people in the state of Kansas can conceal carry guns without a permit. Garden City Police Chief James Hawkins sizes up his concerns this way.
Hawkins views it this way, if cops need extra training for something that is vital to their job then why should citizens not be held to the same requirements.
Kansas will become the fifth states that does not require a permit for concealed carry.
