Powell Answers Doll’s Criticism

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State Representative John Doll is already making a case for a change, but hasn’t officially entered the race for State Senator Larry Powell’s seat. Still Doll says there is a disconnect between Powell and his constituents and that the Senator has failed to return correspondence with a number of key groups including school boards. Powell does not see it the same way.

Unlike Doll, Powell defends scrapping the school funding model for block grants.

Doll will decide on whether he will challenge Powell by the end of the month.
