GCHS soccer bounces back; blanks Ark City

Goddard, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-Amber Miller netted five goals; three of those in the first 31 minutes of the contest as Garden City roared to a 7-0 victory over Arkansas City Monday afternoon in the opening round of the Goddard Tournament. 

“I thought our team played really well,” Miller said afterwards. “Personally, I was pretty confident.”

Megan Martinez and Tiffany Butler provided the other scoring punch as Garden City fired 24 shots compared to Arkansas City’s 2.
