Karlin to Interview for Superintendent’s Position

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The second finalist for the open Superintendent’s position at USD 457 has been named.  Doctor Steven Karlin currently serves as deputy superintendent with the school district.  Karlin’s teaching career began in 1988 as a computer studies and science teacher at Kenneth Henderson Middle School.  

In 1993, Dr. Karlin became the district technology coordinator and in 2000 was appointed director of technology and mediated instruction.  He has been the deputy superintendent for Garden City schools the last 10 years.  

The public is invited to ask questions of Dr. Karlin from 3-3:30 today at the Educational Support Center on Fleming Street.
