Authorities Catch Up with Married Couple Wanted for 1992 Murder
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A married couple wanted for the 1992 murder of a man in Dodge City have been arrested in Monroe County, Georgia. Roger and Kelly Jones were taken into custody at a campsite. Authorities say they have evidence of identities the couple used through their years on the run.
The Jones are accused of killing Patrick Howe and laying his body in a ditch west of Dodge City. Howe worked at a motel the couple ran and was murdered when the man told the suspects he wanted to move to Oklahoma. The case was featured on the tv show “America’s Most Wanted”.
