Huelskamp: Did Not Give Into Pressure on Homeland Security Vote
Washington D.C. (westernkansasnews.com) During last week’s vote to fund the Homeland Security Department through the end of the fiscal year, Western Kansas Congressman Tim Huelskamp says he was pressured to vote for the bill.
Huelskamp says the group called American Action Network spent 400-thousand dollars on the ads. Huelskamp ultimately voted no because it did not do anything to address President Obama’s executive action on illegal immigration. The spending bill passed.
