Morris named to all-conference team
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)-It definitely wasn’t the season Buster sophomore guard Loysha Morris was expecting. She also didn’t expect to be fighting through knee problems the second half of the season. But that’s what made Tuesday’s accomplishment even more special.
Morris was named to the All-Jayhawk West second team after a season which saw her average nearly 17 points per game while shooting 44 percent from the field.
Hutchinson’s Kalani Purcell, who’s already committed to BYU was named player of the year while Lady Blue Dragons skipper John Ontjes was named coach of the year.
