Winter Storm Causes Slick Roads, Accidents
Seward County, KS (westernkansasnews.com) State troopers report a head on collision occurred on US 54 five miles west of Plains Sunday morning at 10:30 from icy road conditions. 49 year old Eugene Jendrezejak of Phoenix , Arizona lost control and taken to Southwest Medical Center. The driver of the other car wasn’t injured. The investigation continues.
A number of accidents were reported in Southwest Kansas from this weekend’s winter storm. Several fender benders occurred around Meade on US 54 according to KDOT. One of those accidents included a semi that rear ended a snow truck. Thankfully no one was injured in the accident.
