It’s Official Wal-mart Will Build Another Store in Garden City

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Last month the Garden City Commission decided to re-zone land at the corner of Emerson and Taylor from agricultural to commercial opening the way for Monday’s announcement that Wal-mart is going to build a store on the property.

Mayor Roy Cessna is pleased that both sides of town will now have a Wal-mart. Sources indicated the announcement was on hold until Wal-mart closed on the property.
