Seattle completes sweep of Royals
Seattle, Wash. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Royals error in the bottom of the eighth inning scored the go ahead run for the Seattle Mariners, as they complete a four-game sweep with a 7-6 win over Kansas City Sunday. The Mariners led most of the afternoon, but a three-run rally by the Royals tied the game at five. Eric Hosmer had a two-run single to complete the comeback at the time. Alcides Escobar had three RBI in the game. Starter Will Smith had a decent outing, giving up three runs on seven hits in six innings pitched.
