School Districts About to Feel Pinch of Falling Revenue
(westernkansasnews.com) Governor Sam Brownback has announced his intention to immediately cut 45 million dollars from education funding in keeping a balanced budget. Incoming State Education Commissioner and McPherson Superintendent Dr. Randy Watson knows the timing could not be worse.
School districts will have to make some decisions on what to cut.
The state shifted funds last week to plug a 344 million dollar hole.
