Powell: Garden City Airport Sets Another Record

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The numbers are in. More people used Garden City Regional Airport than ever before in 2014.

Airport Director Rachelle Powell knows there is one reason for this.

American flies a direct, daily non-stop from Garden City to Dallas Love Field.  Three years ago, Garden City was not even close to the numbers they have today.

For American to add non-stop service daily to and from Dallas it took some faith.

Powell says they are always looking to add service, but nothing there is nothing concrete right now.
