Hit and Run Accident Kills Mans in Liberal; Two Men Are Arrested
Liberal, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Two suspects are in custody after an apparent hit and run accident that killed a 51 year old man at 10th Street and New York Avenue Saturday night in Liberal. Police have identified the victim as Jose Ramos. His body was found lying in the street shortly after 11:30. An autopsy is being done.
Two men age 29 were arrested later at their home on the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue. The suspect’s car was spotted a short time later across the state line in northern Beaver County, Oklahoma. Anyone with information is asked to call the Liberal Police Department.
