Statewide Mill For Funding Community College Has Some Advanatges
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Many ideas are being tossed out on how to make higher education more affordable. Dodge City Community College President Don Woodburn would like to see a statewide mill, so that the 19 towns with community college’s do not have to foot the bill alone. GCCC President Doctor Herbert Swender weighs in on that plan.
Swender says this has been done before.
It is unclear how much support this funding proposal has generated.
