An Accident in Meade County Claims Two Lives
Plains, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Two people from Liberal were killed in a Meade County accident shortly after 3pm Thursday afternoon. A vehicle carrying a trailer disconnected and crossed the center line and hit a Chevy Minivan going the other way on County Road, 12 miles north of Plains. The 46 year old driver J. Santos Garcia was taken to Southwest Medical Center. His two passengers 71 year old Salvador Garcia and 68 year old Consuelo Garcia died several hours later.
