El Dorado, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Not for lack of effort, but Garden City’s last week of matches has been anything but joyous for Head Coach Harvey Sanders.
After staking themselves into prime position for a middle-of-the-pack seed in the region tournament, Garden City now sits in eighth place following a three-set loss to Butler.
Garden City falling to 10-20 overall and 4-11 in conference play. They close the regular season Thursday at Pratt.
