Teachers Contract Vote is Delayed
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A teacher vote for a new contract at USD 443 has been put on hold. Teachers were set to weigh in on a deal for both this school year and next that would have bumped their average salary an extra $650 dollars with increased health benefits.
Superintendent Alan Cunningham called the latest proposal fair to both side, but “we’ll do our best to provide any relevant information that the teacher’s association needs so that this contract can be resolved in the best interest of all parties”.
