Next Step For KDOT: Coming Up with the Dough
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) This week KDOT is wrapping up their local consultations meetings across the state. One of the routes that people mentioned they had the greatest concern is K-156 from Jetmore to Hanston. Now that KDOT has feedback the question is what to do about it?
KDOT spokesman Kirk Hutchinson says officials make a priority determination based on the information they receive.
That gives rural projects a better chance at approval when compared to work needed in more urban areas.
