Philadelphia takes series with win over Colorado Sunday
Denver, CO (westernkansasnews.com)–The Colorado Rockies had their share of run issues Sunday in the final game of the three game series with Philadelphia, as the Phillies leave Denver with a 5-1 win. Marco Scutaro scored the Rockies lone run on a Carlos Gonzales triple in the sixth inning. Drew Pomeranz took the loss for Colorado, who begins a three-game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates tonight. It will be Jeff Francis starting for the Rockies, while Jeff Karstens getting the nod for the Pirates. The first pitch is slated to be thrown at 7:40 central time at Coors Field.
