Davis Takes on Rural Development Issue

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Growing our rural areas is one issue that’s expected to become a key component of the fall campaign for governor.  Democratic candidate Paul Davis wants to tackle this problem in two ways.

Davis thinks government working with rural telephone companies can make this transition easy.  As for housing, Davis thinks government can play a role in encouraging new development.

Davis believes the first step has to start at the ground level.

Davis thinks the state can provide the incentives to turn the housing problem around.
