Larsen in the pack
Bridgeport, West VA (westernkansasnews.com)-Garden City junior golfer Taylor Larsen shot a three over par 75 on Tuesday afternoon during play in the first round of the 2014 Trusted Choice Big I National Championship.
His first round score was tied for 20th; three strokes below the cut line. Larsen parred 13 of the 18 holes-playing even for most of the day. But bogeys on four, seven, 12 and 16 kept him from making a run.
Keenan Huskey from Greenville, SC was the leader after one round; he’s seven under. He’s one of only three golfers in the field to shoot under par.
