Collin Klein back in Garden City
Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-For the second straight year, former Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein brought his passing academy back to Garden City.
“Last year we had a ton of success out here,” Klein said on Tuesday afternoon. “The turnout was tremendous.”
Klein, who’s coming off a stellar career with the Wildcats, just returned from vacation out of the country three weeks ago. As for thoughts on his future:
“I’m just taking it in stride,” Klein said.
Klein spent last summer in Houston Texans mini camp but was not offered a contract. He then signed a two-year deal with the Montreal Allouetes of the Canadian Football League.
His passing academy will continue this week with stops in Dodge City on Wednesday and Wichita on Thursday before wrapping up in Olathe Friday and Saturday.
