Wilma Elizabeth Unruh
Wilma Elizabeth Unruh, age 83, died Thursday, July 10, 2014 @ the Shawnee Gardens Assisted Living Center in Shawnee, Kansas. She was born March 21, 1931 in Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Willard and Ethel Morrow DeCamp. She was a homemaker and had been a lifetime Garden City resident.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas and the United Methodist Womens Circle.
On August 19, 1951 she married Allen Unruh in Garden City, Kansas. He died Nov. 7, 2009 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors Include:
- One Son, Tim Unruh of Sublette, Kansas;
- One Daughter, Tammy (& Dean) Kimberly of Shawnee Mission, Kansas;
- One Sister, Juanita Heinrichs of Grand Junction, Colorado;
- Two Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Friends may call from 5:00-6:30pm on Monday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. The family will receive friends during this time at the funeral home.
Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
