Finney County Deputies Chase Car Down Tuesday Afternoon
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Finney County Sheriff’s Kevin Bascue says a driver that ran a red light at Fulton and Main caused a chase around town Tuesday afternoon when he failed to pull over for a deputy. The man identified as 32 year old Robert Wilson of Joplin, Missouri traveled through residential areas at a high rate of speed and eventually crashed a Chevy Blazer into a home at 515 Summit Street.
Wilson’s passenger 29 year old Amanda Spencer of West Plains, MO was taken to St. Catherine Hospital. After searching the vehicle officers say they found 21 grams of crystal meth. Wilson is facing numerous charges. Officers say he was wanted on a previous warrant. The car Wilson was driving in also was reported stolen.
