KNEA Challenges State on Removing Teacher Tenure

Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas National Education Association has announced their intention to sue the state over stripping away due process for teacher tenure.  KNEA General Counsel David Schauner respects the legislative process, but says the legislature went beyond what they were called to do by the Supreme Court to make education funding whole.

Schauner expects to file the lawsuit in the next couple of weeks.
