Big names help campers redefine their game

Garden City, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Before Wichita State’s Ron Baker was, well Ron Baker, he was a relatively unknown product that had moved to Scott City. Then came a storied high-school career. 

Throw in a couple of state championships, including a buzzer-beater to win the title nearly four years ago, and the Baker legend was officially born. On Thursday, the Shockers guard was in Garden City showing off the skills and work ethic that’s helped his team rise from the barrels of mediocrity.
