Scott City Superintendent Talks About Budget Shortfall
Scott City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The stunning news that Scott City schools are 700 thousand dollars in the hole has started to sink in. Superintendent Bill Wilson says there are two reasons for the huge deficit.
Although job cuts are a last resort, Wilson does not see any way to avoid them this time.
The school board meets Thursday night at 7pm from the school administration building 704 S. College in Scott City.
