Pushing Forward with Education Funding in Legislature
Topeka, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The battle over education funding continues to drag along after the recent decision by the state Supreme Court. State Representative Bud Estes of Dodge City is calling for the legislature to take swift action.
Up to now most of the discussion has been limited to party leadership and members of the education committee. Estes says that’s about to change.
The legislature must come up with an education funding plan by July 1st.
