A First For the Catholic Church in Kansas
Victoria, KS (westernkansasnews.com) It’s the first of a kind distinction for the Catholic Church in Kansas and has been bestowed on only 78 other churches. Victoria’s Cathedral of the Plains has become a minor basilica. Parish pastor Father John explains the significance.
With the designation comes an unexpected name change.
