New Juvenile Services Building Approved by Finney County Voters
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The numbers were low, but they spoke in a clear voice. The vote to extend a 1/4 penny sales tax in Finney County for a new juvenile services and corrections building passed last night 58-42 percent with a little more than a thousand votes cast. Commissioner Duane Drees congratulated everyone who saw this through.
Drees believes everyone will benefit from this new building.
Drees says the next step is to draw up plans for the facility.
