Stecki returns as Lady Buffalo Head Volleyball Coach

Garden City (westernkansasnews.com)–A familiar face will return to the sidelines as the head volleyball coach for Garden City High School for the 2012 volleyball season. Sarah Stecki was re-hired for the same position at a USD 457 Board of Education meeting Monday night, the same position she resigned from in March.

In 2011, Stecki led the Lady Buffaloes to a 22-15 record in 2o11, and led them to the Class 6A Sub-State Finals in Dodge City. Garden City returns nine players that won the WAC title last year. She will also resume her teaching position at Kenneth Henderson Middle School.

Garden City begins their 2012 season Tuesday, August 28 at a triangular at Salina Central.
