Cimarron ends long losing streak
Meade, Kan (westerkansasnews.com)-It had been more than eight years since the last time Cimarron beat Meade. But as Blue Jays Head Coach David Losey put it following Tuesday’s showdown: It was definitely worth the wait.
Caleb Fischer scored a game-high 23 points and the Blue Jays ended a 14-game losing streak to the the Buffaloes with a 60-58 road win.
“This was a longtime coming,” Losey said after the game. “I can’t even remember the last time we beat Meade.”
He does now.
