After their game was postponed on Friday the Broncbuster Men’s basketball team is back on the court tonight against Lamar. Garden City beat Lamar’s JV team 99-52 on November 2 in Colby. The Busters Talen Whitaker is coming off a game against Otero last week where he scored 16 points and had 9 rebounds in an 8 point win. The win snapped a two game losing streak by the Busters and avenged an earlier loss to Otero on their home court a week earlier 60-57.
Lamar is still trying to find out what kind of team they have. Under fifth year head coach Adam Schwartz the Runnin’ Lopes have an entirely new group after last year’s team finished 17-14. Lamar was swept by Dodge City Community College earlier this season in a home and home 85-73 and 70-68.
