VFW Gives Back to Area Youth
Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com)–As we approach Veterans Day those that serve are in some ways still serving. Take for example the VFW Post 1714 in Dodge City. Commander Bob Nelson points out members are reaching out to younger members of our community though the Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen programs.
The VFW in Dodge City has almost 700 active members. Nationwide the organization has an estimated 1.6 million.
