Buster men third; Women seventh
Hutchinson, Kan (westernkansasnews.com)-Ryan Turner contends he wants his runners to be peaking at just the right time. Well the first-year coach didn’t win a region title, but he did set the framework for the big stage.
“We’re obviously disappointed we didn’t win a regional title,” Turner said afterwards. “But there’s always nationals, and that’s what we have our eyes set on now.”
The men finished third behind Colby and fifth-ranked Allen while the women came in seventh.
