Tamara Jones NJCAA All-American for 2012-2013

Colorado Springs, CO – Tamara Jones continues to rake in honors. Today she was recognized as an NJCAA Basketball All-American. The 6’1″ Prosser, WA Sophomore averaged 20.6ppg and 10 rebounds. Jumper was honored last week as the Jayhawk West Player of the Year, Jayhawk West 1st team and All-Region VI team. As a freshman Tamara was All-Jayhawk West, All-Region and the Jayhawk West Freshman of the Year. Tamara Jones is the all-time leading scorer in the history of Broncbuster Women’s Basketball. Jones broke Jasmine Irving’s record of 1000pts set in the 2002-2004 seasons. In two seasons “Jumper” scored 1135 points. Tamara’s plans are yet unclear as to which college she will attend this fall.
