Seward County Sheriff’s Office drug investigations lead to several arrests
Seward County, Kan.–The Seward County Sheriff’s Office released a statement on drug investigations that involved multiple counties in southwest Kansas. Over the past few months, the Seward County Sheriff’s Office has conducted investigations into multiple drug distribution networks in Southwest Kansas and the surrounding communities in an attempt to clean up the drug trade in Seward County
During these investigations, nine search warrants on businesses, homes, and vehicles have been completed. Thirteen arrests for the distribution of controlled substances have been made. Over eight pounds of Methamphetamine seized, and one and a half pounds of cocaine seized, numerous fentanyl pills, THC products and crack cocaine has also been seized. The total Street value of these dangerous drugs is estimated to be worth over $360,000.00.
The Seward County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Liberal Police Department, Haskell County Sheriff’s Office, Grant County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kansas Highway Patrol for their assistance in these investigations.
