Rape investigation leads to arrest of Garden City man
Garden City, Kan.–Garden City Police arrested a man Monday in connection with the rape of a woman known to him.
According to the release from the GCPD, 50-year-old Willie Clay Jr. faces charges from the incident.
On Wednesday, June 6, Officers responded to St. Catherine Hospital for a reported rape prior and began an investigation. Through the investigation, it was learned that Clay allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted the victim at his residence earlier that day.
On Monday, Clay was arrested at the Finney County Law Enforcement Center and lodged in the Finney County Jail for Rape and Aggravated Criminal Sodomy.
